Right in the heart of the city and its bustle, this program gives you two completely different “horizons” in a single day: nature and biodiversity in the morning, Tibetan culture around midday, and a powerful Hindu heritage experience in the afternoon. We finish the day visiting the famous Hindu temple dedicated to the fierce black goddess, Dakshinkali.
We begin at the Jawalakhel Zoo to discover Nepal’s rich biodiversity. Then we change the theme completely by walking to the Tibetan Refugee Camp / Tibetan Center at Jawalakhel, where Tibetan culture is expressed freely—especially traditional crafts and beautiful carpets.
After that, we head towards Dakshinkali and then visit the village and the dramatic gorge area of Chobhar. This day is perfect if you want a mix of nature, culture, and heritage without going too far from Kathmandu Valley.
